Scott and Laurie Zielke

The Morrisons and Zielkes have been part of the congregation for nearly 40 years. They “grew up” in the church, so to speak, and now give the same wisdom, support, comfort and care to others that they experienced themselves.

Music and Worship

Phil Staley - Worship director

Worship is part of our DNA at Sweet Orchard! It’s an open-ended affair when we meet together, following the Holy Spirit wherever He would take us – to honor God and be changed by His presence. Nothing’s sweeter!

Worship team members - Kari Aeschlimann, Warren Emery, Dan Morrison, Kathy Staley, and Kyleen Zielke

Flags and banners - Cathy Stevens

Flagging is a regular part of our worship at Sweet Orchard, complementing the music in a powerful way. Read Cathy’s teaching to learn more about this form of worship.

Honeyrock

Sweet Orchard’s own folk/gospel band carries the joy of the Lord outside the church – playing at farmer’s markets, taverns, food panties and more. Visit their website at https://www.honeyrockband.com/ to see upcoming events or purchase their Christmas CD.

Youth ministry

Daun Garcia, Kim Morrison, Kathy Staley, Robin Staley

At Sweet Orchard our young people meet before the Sunday service to learn more about God in a creative and relevant way. We have an elementary school class and a middle/high school class, both of which meet at 9:00am.

Helping Others

Sweet Orchard contributes to many mission’s and social welfare organizations outside the church, locally, nationally and internationally.  Support for orphans in many nations is an ongoing passion for the church.

Leadership Board

Bobbi Aeschlimann

Prayer and prophetic leadership

Sweet Orchard holds weekly prayer meeting focusing intersession on the needs in our community, our city, our nation and beyond.

Russ and Sue Heilman  Robin Staley

Financial and administrative leadership

Sweet Orchard is committed to investing resources in organizations that support needy populations and spread the gospel world wide, including:

Kim Morrison

Communications and events coordinator

Sweet Orchard’s community life extends well beyond our regular services. In warm months we meet for BBQ and baseball. In cold, for board games and the Packers. We put together shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse, and entertain each other with amateur theatricals on “Family Christmas Night” – any excuse to share a meal and fellowship.
